“We aimed to create a collection that was a visual dialogue between structure and form; how shapes interact and may be brought together to create their own unique whole. We began the design process by taking an assortment of simple organic forms and playing with their interactions. Many resembled a relationship like that of oil and water, while others delivered the sweetness of strawberries and cream.”
“It was as though we were completing a puzzle with B&B Italia; gathering the pieces, assorting the colours and shapes and fitting them together through trial and error until it was complete. We are passionately proud of Naviglio, our first collection with B&B Italia, and see our first partnership as homage to our shared commitment to craft and creating for the world we want to live in.”

George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg founded their studio in 1980 with an emphasis on interior design and have since expanded the firm into a multidisciplinary practice.
With offices in New York and Toronto and a team of more than a hundred creatives and professionals, they design places and products: buildings, interiors, landscapes, lighting, furniture, objects, and graphics, with a focus that goes well beyond what things look like, to how they make people feel. The firm and founders have earned many honours, including being appointed Officers of the Order of Canada, inducted into the Interior Design Hall of Fame, and named among the world’s most influential design studios by prestigious international magazines.
The studio collaborates with leading hotel and resort brands, developers, retailers, restaurateurs, manufacturers, entrepreneurs and creative individuals looking to stand apart from the crowd.
