The platform bebitalia.com, with completely renewed content and graphic layout, interprets the brand’s universe by providing professionals and design enthusiasts with information about products, history, collections, projects, and new items through personalised tools. An immersive user-friendly experience designed by B&B Italia.
The new website is the fulcrum of the company’s digital strategy, and allows the design community to view and share the rich variety of content though the integration of all channels, especially social media, for a brand crossover. Many different stories portray the B&B Italia and Maxalto universe, highlighting its distinctive characteristics in a comprehensive project.
The entire story of B&B Italia, as told in Design Culture, is a journey through the company, its history, the culture of design, research, technological innovation and creativity. In the section focused on the Collections, with dedicated sections for B&B Italia, B&B Italia Outdoor, and B&B Italia Project, the accent is on the products viewed in the photo gallery, with search tags and images for inspiration.
The Maxalto area is the place where the brand’s whole world converges: style, products and the unmistakable approach to interior design, as explained in Atelier and Projects through photos of rooms, situations and significant projects.
A spotlight on the Contract Division reveals a selection of projects developed in over 40 years of collaboration internationally with architects and designers in the hospitality, retail, office and nautical markets.
Click on Inspiration to experience immersive navigation and a crossover experience: Gallery is a collection of photos, video, projects, and interviews with designers; Journal has news about events and fairs, and press reviews; and the Social Stream is where users can share their passion for design in real time.
Particular attention was focused on the user experience, with tools that allow fast intuitive navigation on computers, tablets and smartphones to help users find the desired content out of all of the possible choices.
All site users can experiment with products in the virtual environment, thanks to an innovative web configuration system that allows them to personalise the products and show them in all variants of shapes and materials. A capivating 3D photo visualisation provides realistic 360° views.
Interior designers, architects and retailers can find personalized tools to use to search for products with a series of functions that make design easier: Product Finder and Resources Download to download 3D/Cad and Revit models, catalogues, technical documentation and finishes, and also an exhaustive Image Bank.
Press Lounge is the section reserved for communication professionals, the place where they can get press releases, newsletters, images and other dedicated content.
A “custom” online approach created to respond in the right way to requests of different users in a digital development strategy even towards foreign markets. The site is now in six languages - Italian, English, French, German, Spanish and Russian - and in the near future it will be optimised with content and a user experience tailored to one of the brand’s most strategic markets, China.
