B&B Italia starts 2018 with the launch in Cologne of the first new products of the year dedicated to outdoor living, namely brand new designs by the British duo Doshi Levien and by the Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. The challenge is once again to reflect the technological innovation, ergonomic and formal research, quality and comfort typical of B&B Italia’s indoor products. The brand new proposals for living “en plain air”, together with new finishes and sizes for outdoor products already in the collection, are showcased alongside new B&B Italia and Maxalto proposals designed by Antonio Citterio for the dining and the living areas.
Next to the new additions to the collection, the latest products are displayed in elegant and welcoming settings that reflect a truly refined lifestyle. The outdoor segment once again plays a key role, and sees the launch of four new projects: the Bay, a collection of sculptural and monolithic yet visually light outdoor seats and the Tabour Outdoor by Doshi Levien, the Fiore outdoor table collection by Naoto Fukasawa and the iconic Tobi-Ishi Outdoor low table by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby.
The Maxalto presents Otium, a new seating system that stands out for its contemporary classic style, generous proportions and great comfort and the Astrum table with oval top designed by Antonio Citterio.
Finally B&B Italia indoor collection presents the range extension of Jens series of chairs by Antonio Citterio, now available in an all wood version.
