The sixth edition of the Triennial Design Museum offers a new interpretation of how Italian design expertly compares notes with different cultures, understands their languages and conceives new ideas. Organised in three sections, which progress from the post-war period to current day trends, the exhibition draws to a close with a selection of leading design brands in the sector of Made in Italy products, brands that have absorbed and personalised foreign influence. In this framework, the installation designed by Architect Citterio for B&B Italia pays homage to its founder, Piero Ambrogio Busnelli, who was the first to consider the application of polyurethane foam moulding technology to the furnishing sector, thus radically revolutionising the same.Triennale Design Museum Via Alemagna 6, MilanApril 6th, 2013 –February 23rd, 2014
