The Belgian designer Vincent Van Duysen has presented his new Pablo chair for the B&B Italia 2019 collection.
“Pablo has a relaxed fit. It is simple and refined in its details, made of rich and humble materials such as leather and solid wood… Overall, it has a Latin-American touch, traditional but simultaneously contemporary.”
The new armchair perfectly combines comfort and structure offering a high impact aesthetic. It is the perfect balance between innovation and elegance.Pablo has a double layer of cowhide with integrated light seat padding which is barely visible but ensures comfort. The appealing shape is defined by an accentuated depth and a slightly inclined front: Pablo suggests new proportions, calibrated to the millimetre, which make this chair an innovative meeting point between armchair and a chaise-longue. The structure wraps around the body and like a suspension bridge or a flying carpet, it appears to be flying because it is simply fitted into the backrest and inserted into the armrests.
