The new Arclinea Show Room & Training Centre

Corporate news

Caldogno (VI), 10 July 2019. Arclinea's historic base in Caldogno (Vicenza) is enhanced by a new exhibition space, dedicated to the market and to industry operators. It is an innovative exhibition space, designed as a hub of training, consultancy and design; an innovative concept, focusing on an unprecedented display of products, designed to share and disseminate exclusive design solutions.
In its 800 square metres of space, the new Arclinea Showroom & Training Center stands out as a place that showcases the brand's distinctive characteristics, demonstrating and pinpointing all those characterising elements that make the Arclinea Collection - designed and coordinated by Antonio Citterio - so very unique.
The open and bright space is not home to any kitchen environment in the traditional sense. On the left are two classrooms used for training and hospitality where meetings with clients and international designers are regularly held.
In the foreground is the Functional Islands area: 6 innovative concepts that, over time, have represented and still represent the evolution and revolution of kitchen spaces. These include, importantly - in the Arclinea tradition - the presence of a work island used for show-cooking and for the convivial preparation of business lunches.
The central area is dedicated to explanatory graphics. Design contents and differentiated details are illustrated through panels, becoming a fully-fledged synoptic path that subdivides the spaces but does not encumber them. The documentation focuses on the islands, materials, elements of the design and ergonomics area (base units, wall units, equipment between the base and wall units, tall units), located on the long wall opposite the functional islands.
Opposite the work island, the Modus System area displays two “hidden” kitchen designs which meet the most current space division requirements: the kitchen is in fact enclosed by the Modus door system which, integrated into the wall panelling, defines the dedicated areas architecturally.
Finally, the space is closed, on the right, by the Wet Kitchen, the support kitchen to the large work and convivial island, by the demonstration classroom for the design of extraction systems, by the area dedicated to the hideaway kitchen design with the New Pocket System and by the area reserved to the Arclinea Winery Collection, the collection of refrigerated wine units for optimal wine maintenance.
