B&B Italia will be making its debut at Neue Räume, Switzerland’s leading furniture and design show. The company will showcase the B&B Italia and Maxalto designs introduced in 2017. The SAKé seating system designed by Piero Lissoni - a new entry in the team of designers who collaborate with the company - features a powerful contemporary flavour and the formal balance of its constituent elements. The seats are designed to match the Formiche furnishings, a series of small tables produced in various shapes, heights and materials. Antonio Citterio’s Alex tables, available in a wide range of finishes, come with tripod-style frames connected by crosspieces designed to accommodate round, square and rectangular tops with a curved edge. The tables are paired with the Jens chairs, with their turned and curved oak or wenge frames embellished by leather seats and backrests, and with the Caratos chairs, designed by Antonio Citterio for Maxalto, which stand out for their basic, light design, underscored by a die cast aluminium frame. Naoto Fukasawa’s Harbor armchairs, through which the Japanese designer pursues his study of inverted truncated cone shapes, are proposed in versions favouring relax and conversation, alongside a matching ottoman.
