Maxalto exclusively presented the new 2020 collection in Paris. A project that aims to represent an evolution of the brand, a continuous game of memory and innovation ("timeless future"), combining a series of new pieces with a great work on existing best sellers, given by aesthetic functions, such as the introduction of over 30 new exclusive fabrics, unpublished seams and precious materials, which are functional, such as the padding.
The project therefore evolves organically and consistently, carrying on that French spirit inspired in particular by Jean-Michel Frank. For this reason, the choice to present the new collection in Paris is once again a natural choice; in Citterio's words, in fact, "The house in Paris is Maxalto's house". The various rooms welcome the furnishings chosen in soft tones, with a presence of black and white ("the brand's DNA" always in the words of its artistic director Antonio Citterio), creating a fluid and welcoming path, almost a cocoon of classic contemporary furnishings , which combine excellent materials, accurate manufacturing, exclusive details and customized solutions in terms of dimensions and finishes. A single catalog where the idea of a large Maxalto house made up of many "communicating rooms" finally materializes.
Among the novelties Alcor, a family of containers, sideboards, consoles and dining tables united by a rigorous aesthetic combined with precious essence surfaces, including the new characteristic Chilean Tineo wood, with a damier motif (checkers); the Lithos series of containers / displays and low table, to be positioned also in the center of the room; the new series of sofas Apollo, Aurae, Amoenus Soft and Otium Soft, characterized by clean and rigorous lines, but at the same time soft and extremely comfortable.
