Design conversations during 2015 Fuorisalone @B&B Italia Store Milan
Butterfly gets its name from the "butterfly" shape created by the outer corner that joins the armrest and the backrest. It is a modular seating system that responds effectively to the needs of modularity and comfort, suitable for free and informal usage. Its modular structure is shaped around an ottoman, which is the base piece, and which, when integrated with the backrest and/or the armrest, becomes a central or terminal element, either left or right.
discover moreThe rounded, soft and sinuous shapes of the Fat-Sofa seating system are the base for the new outdoor version, characterized by a brand new interlacing design. Its fully padded seat is accompanied by a metal frame backrest that supports the original weave, creating a special play of fullness and emptiness. The large weave pattern, made of tortora coloured twisted polyethylene fibres, makes the design unique, respecting the designer's idea of lightness, transparency and puts the furnishings in an open "dialogue" with the surrounding environment.
discover moreCharlotte by Antonio Citterio is a tribute to lightness. The shell is completely covered, but the frame profile is visible on the chair side, thus highlighting the line of the seat. The cover is in raw cut full grain leather in six different colours (natural, black, dark brown, mud green, bottle green, bordeaux). The frame is available in a series of different finishes that emphasize it when pewter painted, bronzed nickel painted, black chrome painted or black painted aluminium, or blend it with the cover when painted in bottle green or bordeaux colours.
discover moreWith Michel Effe an important chapter is added to the successfull story that started with Michel, the first modular sofa from the series. Some of the characteristics are unaltered, such as the two depths, but it is more essential than its predecessors. It reveals a new design thanks to a simplification of the seat with a single cushion. It is thinner, but not less comfortable. Everything superfluous has been eliminated.
discover morePapilio Shell is available in two versions: with polypropylene shell or padded and upholstered in a wide range of fabrics and leathers. Different types of bases give the chair different looks for different uses.
discover moreWith the Oskar table, Vincent Van Duysen embraces the more architectural tradition of furniture design, both considering the experience of the masters and presenting its own distinctive piece that can dialogue with the space around it. In its most iconic version, the top in cathedral glass with irregular surface and light green colour perfectly matches the lacquered legs in glossy emerald green. Oskar is available in three sizes: two rectangular and one square.
