On July 4, B&B Italia Ho Chi Minh City hosted Naoto Fukasawa, a famous Japanese designer, for a design talk dedicated to his work as a designer and to the collaboration with B&B Italia.
His collaboration with the Italian company, started in 2005, led to the creation of iconic projects developed thanks to constant dialogue and comparison with the internal Research & Development Centre. Among his most significant products, the Grande Papilio armchair, the Papilio chair, the ShelfX bookcase and more recently the Fiore outdoor tables and the Bull table with Belle chairs.
Thanks to the collaboration of the local partner Eurasia Concept, the meeting, intended for an audience of selected guests, from developers to designers, to the press, was incredibly successful: 600 people attended the presentation.  A pleasant surprise also for Naoto Fukasawa during his first trip to Vietnam. “It is extremely important to educate the younger audience about design”, the designer comments, “It is a great opportunity that will certainly have an important influence on the development of design in the near future”.
