Walks & Talks, the video format created by the storytelling factory Noethicsnobrand, directed by Giacomo Zito, provides a simple and genuine description of Eda-Mame, the new day bed designed by Piero Lissoni for B&B Italia.
The editorial project was launched to approach the design world and present it with a “cool” and original spirit. The idea is to chat with the designer, to “stroll” with him as one would do with a dear friend, to perceive rather than see, and to feel rather than listen. “Establishing personal contact and deep relations with leading figures in the design scene and getting to know their ideas enables us to tell their story easily and clearly, underscoring the product’s immaterial value”, says Giacomo Zito. Piero Lissoni and Eda-Mame converse with the public, following their individual path and personal identity.
Shaped by an organic development inspired by the form of a soy bean, the typical ingredient in Oriental cuisine, Eda-Mame is a furnishing element with a strong impact created by a sculptural design that can give great incisiveness to a space. A single object that is a fusion of three types of seating - high-back chair, easy chair and pouf. Its threefold nature lends Eda-Mame extreme versatility in both residential and public settings, and can also highlight areas for co-working, passage and short stays, like hotel lobbies.
