The iconic Camaleonda sofa designed by Mario Bellini has received the 2021 IDEAT Design Award for the Best Sofa Reissue category.
First presented to the public in 1970, Camaleonda makes its comeback 50 years later speaking a contemporary language, between structural solutions and sustainable choices, while preserving all the elements that have made it a contemporary classic: the 90x90 cm seat module, with or without backrest and armrest, the generous padding that forms the characteristic capitonné design and the system of cables, hooks and rings which defines the characteristic look and modularity.

In the images a sophisticated and intimate atmosphere, a play of lights and shadows, a touch of nostalgia. A late 19th century building, designed by the architect Enrico Holzner, in the heart of Trieste is the perfect setting for Camaleonda, the iconic modular sofa designed by Mario Bellini in 1970 and reissued in 2020 by B&B Italia.
