The Connaught, one of London’s most exclusive and sought after hotels, situated in the prestigious Mayfair Village since the early 19th century, has recently embarked on a new collaboration with the renowned Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. The result is the brand new JEAN-GEORGES AT THE CONNAUGHT, a realm of eclectic and imaginative flavours, accentuated by the stunning architectural setting designed by John Heah & Co.
The space is made light and airy by large windows and stylistic details that blend The Connaught’s historical heritage with a passion for innovation. The relaxed, contemporary design echoes the red brick hues visible through the windows. The interiors feature seats and tables with a metal frame and a top in Black Marquina marble, purposely produced by B&B Italia on the basis of the designs of John Heah & Co.
This is the third important collaboration between the architect and B&B Italia, following the projects for the Aman Amanera hotel in Santo Domingo and The Berkeley in London. The Connaught and The Berkeley form part of The Maybourne Hotel Group, which also comprises London’s prestigious Claridge's.
