B&B Italia’s Shenzhen mono-brand store provided the perfect setting for Monica Armani’s debut in China. This one-of-a-kind showroom reflects a blend of contemporary Italian design and Eastern cultural influences. Fluid lines, rich colors, and innovative materials create a harmonious atmosphere that bridges traditions and modernity. In partnership with Domus Tiandi, the showroom encapsulates a spirit of freedom and inclusivity, making it an ideal stage for Monica Armani’s exploration of design and her first-ever conversation event in China​.
On November 15^th the Design Talk, titled “The O’ Molecules”, moderated by Beryl Hsu, Editor in Chief of Architectural Digest China, explored the connection between fashion and interior design, blending timeless elegance with modern living. During the event, Monica Armani shared her vision of merging classical elements with contemporary design, highlighting the balance between tradition and modernity. Her celebrated creations for B&B Italia, including the Allure O’ table, Flair O’ armchair, and Heri O’ chair, embody a timeless elegance inspired by the 1960s. Paying homage to icons like Jackie O’, these designs reinterpret classic forms with a contemporary twist. With graceful lines and bold details, Monica Armani's work stands as a testament to her ability to craft pieces that are both functional and artfully expressive, solidifying her reputation as a pioneer in modern design.
