Gabriella Karefa-Johnson meets Le Bambole designed by Mario Bellini

Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, Global Contributing Fashion Editor-at-Large and stylist, has chosen the iconic Bambola armchair to enhance the living room at her new Brooklyn home. She wanted a piece of furniture that has lived throughout art, social and living history, a timeless piece that could be handed down to future generations, but that was also playful. Hence the choice of the Le Bambole collection.

"For me, Le Bambole armchair is a toy piece of furniture. You can get really comfortable in it, but it's also one of the most important Italian turn of the century designs", says Gabriella Karefa-Johnson.

The new home came to her as an accident, but Gabriella had a clear vision for her living room: a place where all her friends could come, commune, and gather surrounded by incredible design.

The Bambola armchair added that comfort and fun she needed.
