B&B Italia Before & Beyond

To mark its 60th anniversary, B&B Italia commissioned Nova Express to produce a special issue of the magazine dedicated to the brand’s communication over the decades. The result is Before & Beyond, curated by Gianluigi Ricuperati and Maurizio Cilli, a true work of research and exploration drawing on both the archives and commissioned artworks.

Nova Express has explored the creative drive that has made B&B a global icon of Italian design, focusing in particular on communication as an act of radical intent and subversive imagination.

At the showroom in Via Durini 14, a special exhibition curated by Gianluigi Ricuperati and designed by Formafantasma draws on the research and offers a non-linear perspective on a complex and multifaceted history of products, experiments, projects, marketing and narratives.
