Lemante is a collection of small tables replate with striking stylistic signs and with a strong biographical note for its creator, Japanese designer Kensaku Oshiro. The collection refers to organic forms found in nature juxtaposed with the more essential lines of the frame and is based on a simple geometric idea: two parallel squares rotated and offset by 45°. Prominent among the structural elements are the slender frame in metal rod and the corner joint composed of an aluminum casting. The tops are available in extra light transparent glass or molten glass, a process that creates organic textures and irregularities on the surface for a distinct tactile effect. Two materials are available for the base, black Marquinia marble or glossy lacquered in numerous shades. The collection comprises four interlocking sizes for infinite decorative compositions.

Kensaku Oshiro
Kensaku Oshiro ist ein preisgekrönter japanischer Designer mit Sitz in Mailand. Er wurde 1977 auf der Insel Okinawa geboren und absolvierte seine Ausbildung in Japan, bevor er nach Italien zog. Nach seinem Masterabschluss an der Polytechnischen Schule für Design in Mailand im Jahr 1999 und nach verschiedenen Berufserfahrungen in renommierten Designstudios zwischen Mailand und London gründete er 2015 sein eigenes Studio in Mailand.
Sein Designansatz zeichnet sich durch seine multikulturelle Erfahrung und die kontinuierliche Suche nach neuen Designmöglichkeiten aus, die auf einem Verständnis des kulturellen und ökologischen Kontexts des Projekts basieren. Bisher hat er mit verschiedenen führenden Unternehmen der Branche, insbesondere in Europa, zusammengearbeitet und Projekte von der Architektur bis hin zu Möbeln und Industrieprodukten durchgeführt.
2006 gewann er den ersten Preis des Design Report Award beim Salone Satellite und 2018 wurde er zu den „Rising Talent“ gewählt, die in Italien bei Maison&Object tätig sind. Neben Auszeichnungen wie dem „Best of Year Award“ (Interior Design, 2022, US) und dem „Wallpaper Design Award“ (2022) wurde er bei EDIDA 2016 als „Young Design Talent“ und „Designer of the“ nominiert Jahr“ auf der EDIDA 2022 von Elle Decor Japan.
